Donation from a dad's send-off

Herbert Wilson (see picture) was born in Hanover, Jamaica, in 1928. He was one of the earliest young men to emigrate to the UK and raised a happy family of five children in East London. He sadly passed away in December 2017. His daughter, Diane, reports :

"Dad’s send-off was beautiful and we offered guests at the reception the opportunity to make a small donation to the ‘Rejuvenate Jamaica Hospital’ appeal in Dad’s memory. We were delighted with the response.
Dad would be so happy to hear that a hospital or hospitals in JA would benefit from money collected in his memory. He loved the UK & his life here, but he was proud to be a Jamaican!"

We are so grateful to the Wilson family for thinking of Jamaica’s hospitals at their time of sadness and the £300+ they raised will be well spent in memory of Herbert!
