Welcome to our website!

Rejuvenate Jamaican Hospitals is a UK-based charity set up to help improve hospital facilities and equipment in hospitals in Jamaica, starting first with Lionel Town and May Pen. Our mission is to contribute to the health and well-being of the people using public hospitals in Jamaica by enhancing and improving public facilities. Rejuvenate was established in 2013 as a result of the founder’s experience of visiting a friend at a public hospital in Jamaica. The conditions she saw left her with the determination to bring about improvements to facilities in public hospital in Jamaica, wherever needed. Contact us below or by calling 0203 556 8152 or 07956 553865 (both UK)

Our Projects

Below are the projects we raised funds for in 2019.

Men's unit at Lionel Town Hospital

After the successful refurbishment of the mother and bay unity at Lionel Town Hospital, we are starting work on the very neglected men's unit at the same hospital. You, our magnificent and generous donors, have been so much blessing to the mums and babies - can we do the same for the men in hospital there? See photos below.

Help us to "Love Jamaican Hospitals"

How you can support us and our projects

Invite us to speak to your group

RJH is happy to send a speaker to your church or group to share more information about the urgent needs in Jamaican hospitals and how you can help. We would love for more groups and churches to adopt us and raise funds regularly for either our general needs or for particular projects.

Organise a fund-raising event

You may have seen how Shane Edwards has run two half-marathons to raise sponsorship for Jamaican hospitals. Could you or someone you know carry out a sponsored run, ride or other activity on our behalf. Let your imagination run loose! And because we are a registered UK charity, any donations from UK tax payers can be Gift-aided, which adds another 25% to your gift.

Join our street teams

Every weekend our willing volunteers are out somewhere with our distinctive collecting buckets! It might be a big shopping mall or your local Tesco or Sainsburys. Can you spare part of a day to gather in a harvest for us? We supply the buckets and ID cards and we arrange the necessary permissions beforehand.

Or just send us what you can

Every little helps! If you aren't able to do any of the above, please use our donate button to send us whatever you can spare. Somewhere in Jamaica a sick baby, child or adult will be thankful you did.

Use our contact form and donate button below to respond to the needs we have shown you here.
